Norma Collins Obituary
Norma J. Collins, 93, of Elyria, died October 31, 2021 at her home after a brief illness. She was born September 17, 1928 in Masontown, PA and was a 1947 graduate of German Township High School, moving to Ohio in 1952. She was a member of Avon United Methodist Church. Norma enjoyed gardening, traveling to Amish Country, attending family gatherings and returning to her hometown in PA to visit relatives. Norma is survived by a daughter, Valerie J. Collins; son, Alan B. (Sharon) Collins; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Raymond H. in 2009; her parents; two sisters and four brothers. Friends will be received Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of an 11:30 am service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Pastor Micah Holland will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
