Norm was an amazing person and I always held him in high regard; I learned a lot from him and considered him a good friend, someone I could always turn to for sound advice. I always looked forward to seeing him at the meetings and enjoyed his company. I will miss him.
I know Norm from his work in product compliance for Moen, as I worked (and still do) at a competitor, American Standard, now LIXIL. Norm was a good guy, always level-headed and with clear thoughts and ideas. It was a real loss for the product compliance community when he retired, and a greater loss now that he has passed. Norm was a great co-worker and friend. We enjoyed solving many problems together here at Moen for over 12 years. We also enjoyed talking about restoring cars. He was a kind individual and I can still hear him talking on the phone in my mind as our desks were located very close together. RIP Norm.
A few years ago, Norman and Judy visited a science enrichment camp for elementary school students. The children were working on a fun experiment to understand how electrical impulses can move toy cars and Norman was delighted to help the children with their efforts. Thank you Mr. Kummerlen, for supporting the children.

I worked with Norm for 12 years at Moen and he was a great mentor and friend. He will be missed.
