Pamela J. Baker (nee: Henthorn), 57, of Elyria, died October 24, 2015 at Life Care Center of Elyria. She was born March 28, 1958 in Elyria and was raised in North Ridgeville. For many years Pam was a Girl Scout Leader in Elyria and was also a member of Elyria American Legion Post 12 Auxiliary. Other interests included crafts, crocheting, reading, cooking and cake decorating.Pam is survived by daughters, Laura (Ray Krohn) Carlson and Beverly (Steven) Jackson both of Elyria; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jacob Carlson and Adrianna Baker; sisters, Jackie Bucklew of Smithville, WV and Dee Dee (Tim) Coen of Folsom, WV; brother, Rusty Henthorne of Columbus, Ohio; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews, cousins and many friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Elaine Henthorn; sister, Susan Davis and a nephew, Brandin Edgell.Friends will be received Tuesday October 27, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Visitation will also be Thursday October 29, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the time of a 1:00 PM service at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, West Virginia. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Pine Grove. The Baker family acknowledges the caring and support given to them by Life Care Center of Elyria and Mercy New Life Hospice.
