Patricia McConnell Obituary
Patricia A. McConnell (nee Willard), 91, a life long resident of Wellington, passed away peacefully August 19, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 6, 1930 and was a 1948 graduate of Wellington High School. She was formerly employed as a parts clerk at Krystowski’s Tractor in Wellington, as manager at Rodel Shoes and then at Pier 58 Marine in Pittsfield. Pat is a member and former secretary of First United Methodist Church of Wellington. She enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends. Pat is survived by a son, Gary (Cheryl) McConnell of Wellington; four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Enid) Willard, Jr. of Enon, Ohio; sisters, Susie Alspach and Sally (Mike) Giar, both of Wellington; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dale McConnell in 2006; daughter, Cynthia “Cyd” Butti; step mother, Virginia Willard; sister, Vivienne Cassidy; and her parents, Charles and Kathryn Willard. Please join us for an Open House and Celebration of life for Pat. The gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday October 24, 2021 from 2 until 5pm at the family farm 47980 State Route 18, Wellington.
