Patricia J. Wiech, (nee Diringer), 75, of Elyria, died October 16, 2016 at Life Care Center of Elyria.She was born October 29, 1940 in Elyria and was a 1959 graduate of Elyria High School. Pat received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Lorain County Community College and was employed at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center for 30 years, retiring in 2007.She enjoyed travel, dancing, following the activities of her grandchildren and was a lover of animals and her pets.Pat is survived by sons Jeffrey Wiech and Michael (Beth) Wiech, both of Elyria; daughters, Jody (Johnny) Crockett of San Antonio, TX and Kristin (David) Clark of Elyria and grandchildren Cameron, Alyssa and Shaun.She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Arthur Wiech in 1997 and parents, Donald and Florence Diringer.Friends will be received Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A graveside service will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Reverend Roger Loomis, Chaplain of Crossroads Hospice will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035.
