Patricia Osborn McAlpin, 86, of Elyria, passed peacefully after a long illness on the evening of January 8, 2015 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange, Ohio. Pat was a 1946 graduate of Eaton High School and earned her bachelors degree at Baldwin Wallace College in 1950. She served as an elementary school teacher in North Ridgeville before retiring from the profession to start her family.Much loved, she is survived by Herald, her husband of 62 years, sons Scott (Deb) of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and John (Sally) of Belmont, Massachusetts; nine grandchildren; nine great-grand children and unadopted son, Gary Zvosec. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Bay and Edna Osborn and sisters Mary Carol Jalowiec and Jean Robinson.Pat enjoyed her family, strays - both animal and human, music, camping, and travel.There will be no services.
