Pauline O. Phlipot (nee Oref), 89, of Carlisle Township, died July 6, 2015 at Life Care Center of Elyria, where she had resided for the past 3 years.She was born November 16, 1925 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of Constantin and Pauline (nee Bobick) Oref, who both emigrated from Belarus. Pauline was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Grafton and had been an avid bowler and enjoyed gardening.Pauline is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Constance A. Phlipot and Douglas Wake, both of Arlington, VA; and a sister-in-law Dorothea Oref of Philippi, WV.She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harold J. Phlipot in 2001; brother Wallace Oref; father Constantin in 1975 and mother Pauline in 1999.Friends will be received Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A funeral service will be Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Fr. John P. Seabold officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton.
