Pearl H. Sprankle (nee Schroeder), 95, of Elyria, died April 5, 2016 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria.She was born December 1, 1920 in Elyria and was a 1938 graduate of Birmingham High School. She was formerly employed at Gilford Instruments in Oberlin, also worked as a beautician and taught dance at Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Pearl was a stained glass artist and for 26 weeks of the year, she and her husband traveled to various art shows throughout six states. She attended St. Paul United Church of Christ and was a life member of Elyria V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary.Pearl is survived by a grandson William L. Worcester of Elyria; granddaughter Jennifer A. (Jeff) Hobbs of Crossville, TN and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by husbands Russell Davidson, who died in WWII and Kenneth E. Sprankle in 2013; daughter Kathy Pearl Kerley in 2010; brothers Clarence and George Schroeder and a sister Hilda Schroeder.Friends will be received Friday, April 8, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave, Elyria. A graveside service will be Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Elyria.
