Peter G. Jameson's Obituary
Peter G. Jameson, 77, of Elyria, died peacefully Tuesday, June 2, 2026. He was born April 28, 1949 in Sharon, PA. to Norman and Mary Elizabeth Jameson.
Pete was employed at Invacare until 2012 and was a volunteer at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center for the past 2 years. He was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Guardians and Cleveland Browns. Each year, he enjoyed watching the Little League World Series. Proudly known as "Papa Pete", he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their activities. He was a member of the Elyria United Polish Club and the Elyria Eagles.
Pete is survived by his children, Kevin (Kerry) Jameson of Elyria, Patti (Rick) Willard of Elyria, and Brian (Jennifer) Jameson of Lorain; grandchildren, Paige Jameson-Foster, McKayla (Nehemiah) Deason, Kortlynn, Emma and Brianna Jameson, Shayna and Landry Adkins, Adam (Casey) Willard, Matthew (Molly) Willard, and Shaun and Rachel Freeman; great-grandchildren, Oaklyn, Easton, Eliza, Stevie and Tyler; siblings, Fred Jameson, Walter (Eileen) Jameson and Norma (Carl) Thome; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Lenora “Lee” in 2012; daughter, Erin Adkins in 2014; and siblings, Bob, Jim and Mike Jameson, Connie Domro and Mary Catherine Parrett.
Friends will be received Monday, June 8, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Dicken, Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A graveside service will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 10:00 am at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria with Reverend Danny Parsons officiating.
