Phyllis Mae Keisler (Dostall)Phyllis Mae Keisler (Dostall), 88 of Elyria, died June 4, 2017 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria. She was born June 21, 1928 in Elyria and attended Elyria High School. She had worked at the former Paradise Restaurant in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria Business College and a member of Oberlin Chapter of Alpha Iota Sorority. From 1947 to 1967, she was employed at General Industries in Elyria. Since 1950, Phyllis has been a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, where she had served on the Vestry, sang in the choir and directed the Children and Cherub Choirs. She enjoyed playing the organ, and was a member of the American Legion Post 12 Ladies Auxiliary.Phyllis is survived by sisters, Doris Holtwick of Jackson, TN, Patricia (Richard) Keefer and Joyce Korzan, both of Elyria; nieces, nephews and her friend and companion, Ellen Otis. She was preceded in death by her husband William F. Keisler in 2011; father, Julius A. Dostall in 1969 and her mother, Phyllis Beber in 2001 Friends will be received Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of an 11:30 a.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. Reverend June Hardy Dorsey, Rector of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 300 Third St., Elyria.
