Phyllis M. Crisp, 93, a resident of Wesleyan Village, Elyria died Wednesday, June 23, 2021. She was born August 13, 1927 in Oostburg, WI to Peter A. and Mary Jane (nee Kleinhesselink) Lemke. Phyllis was a 1945 graduate of Oostburg High School and attended Sheboygan Business College. She married Raymond E. Crisp, Jr. in Oostburg and moved to Elyria where they were life-long residents. She was employed at Lorain County Community College as bookstore manager until her retirement. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Susan (John) Rogers, Port Clinton, Ohio; her grandson, Shawn (Jun) Rogers; and twin granddaughters, Ava and Hannah Rogers of Centennial, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Crisp, Jr. in 2012; parents; sisters, Margaret Paplawsky, Joan Moran and Amy Bramstedt; and a brother, Frederick Lemke. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
