Randel E. StreetsRandel E. Streets, 72, of Elyria, died, February 28, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was born August 30, 1945 in Elkins, West Virginia and has been a longtime Elyria resident. For many years he was employed as a bricklayer for Local 5 Bricklayers Union, Cleveland. He enjoyed working with wood and especially building bird houses.Randel was the loving husband of Helen R. (nee: Meadows) to whom he was married forty nine years; devoted father to Patty Bunner and Rocky (Irene) Streets both of Elyria. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Kelly Renforth, Sommie Kruder, Mona Akers, Diane Riccardi and Norma Streets and brothers, Ralph, Calvin and Delbert Streets.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Suta in 2003 and a son, Randel E. Streets, Jr. in 2004; parents, Herbert and Anna Streets and brothers, Bob, Kenny and Ted Streets.A service will be Friday March 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Reverend Bill Huffman will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
