Randy G. Panchak, Sr., 56, lifelong resident of Elyria, died Friday May 24, 2013 at MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland after suffering from injuries sustained at his workplace.He was born December 10, 1956 in Oberlin, attended Elyria High School and served with the U.S. Army. He was employed at Plasto-Tech Manufacturing in Elyria for over 18 years.He enjoyed camping, fishing, kayaking, bicycling, gardening, NASCAR and most mechanical work.Randy is survived by his confidant and soul mate, Rachelle K. Panchak; sons Randy G. Jr. of Sarasota, FL, Michael J. Panchak and Jeffery A. Panchak, both of Elyria; brothers Russell A. Panchak of Elyria, Nicholas Panchak of Grafton and sister Kathy Meadows of Columbus, OH and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Marilyn (nee Began) Panchak and a brother Joseph Jr. in 1969.Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH 44035.
