Raymond A. Diederich, 84, of North Ridgeville, died Thursday, August 15, 2013.He was born February 7, 1929 in North Ridgeville, graduated from North Ridgeville High School in 1947 and served with the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 in Korea.Raymond was employed all his life in the family business, J.P. Diederich Sons, Inc. in North Ridgeville. From 1949 to 2007, he was the Cooperative Observer for the National Weather Service. Raymond was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville and a former Boy Scout leader.Raymond is survived by sons Allan (Cheri) Diederich of Elyria; David (Diane) Diederich of Cypress, TX; Gregory (Kathy) Diederich of Westlake; Joseph (Lisa) Diederich of Avon and Michael (Marlene) Diederich of Tecumseh, MI; daughters Anne (Roger) Parsley of Beaver Creek, OH; Debra (David) Tschudy of Monroeville, PA and Genie (Brian) Murra of North Ridgeville; 12 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; brother Eugene Diederich of North Ridgeville; sisters Loyola Diederich of North Ridgeville; Natalie Smith of Grafton; Martha Diederich of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY and Patricia Bradley of Hillman, MI.He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Olga G. (nee Smith) in 2007; son Paul in 1986; brother Robert and Parents Audoen and Aurelia Diederich.Friends will be received Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH. A funeral mass will be Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville (please meet at church). Reverend Robert J. Franco and Reverend Charles J.
