Renee K. Bishop, 59, of N. Ridgeville, passed awayNovember 1, 2016 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born August 27, 1957 in Garfield Heights, OH and was a graduate of R. B. Chamberlin High School, Twinsburg, OH. Renee served in the U.S. Navy and had been employed as an inventory logistics specialist with NASA for 12 years. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, canine training and was a passionate advocate for suicide awareness. Renee is survived by a daughter Justine Moen of Akron; son Austin (Mandy) Bishop of Elyria; grandchildren Mason, Carson and Kendyl Moen and one other granddaughter and great grandson; father and mother John & Maribelle Rudin of Northfield, OH; mother, Janice Nagorka of Cape Coral, FL; sisters Renell (Lennie, decd.) Noack of Northfield, Debi (Jon) Pritchard of Boone, IA, Barbara (Chris) Krettler, Cindy (Carl) Bican; brother, John (Lynn) Rudin, all of Northfield, OH, and brother Mark Nagorka of Cape Coral, FL; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kent D. Bishop in 1989 and daughter Nicole R. Bishop in 2008. Friends will be received Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 4 p.m. until the time of a 6:00 p.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria.
