Rhoda Sayers Obituary
Rhoda C. Sayers (nee Borling), 95, formerly of LaGrange, OH, died April 25, 2017. She was born February 21, 1922 in Grafton and was a graduate of Grafton High School. Rhoda was formerly employed as a supervisor at General Industries in Elyria. She was a member of First Church Christ Scientist, Elyria where she had been a reader and served in numerous other capacities. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and flower gardening. Rhoda is survived by a daughter, Christine J. (William) Krage-Deibel of Berea; son Gregory A. (Kim) Sayers of Versailles, IN; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Charles Borling of Grafton and a sister, Carol Carr of Mansfield, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Carlton F. Sayers in 2002; son, Brett Sayers in 1972; granddaughter, Michelle Sayers and parents, Charles and Rose Borling. Friends will be received Friday, April 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a noon service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria. Jeannette Bemis will be the reader. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions may be made to First Church Christ Scientist, Elyria 309 East Ave., Elyria.
