Richard Marlon “Cowboy” Metcalf, 66, of Elyria, died June 23, 2024 at Ames Family Hospice. He was born September 15, 1957 in Amherst. He was a drywall finisher and an avid hunter and gardener.
Marlon is survived by his wife, Debbie (nee Hebebrand); step-children, Christina (Keith), Robert (Kaitlyn) and Brandon (Michelle); step-grandchildren, Monica, Karissa, Alexander, Aliyah, Alexis, Ethan, Destinee, Cole, Gavin, Carter, Maddy, Colin, C.J. and Anna; step-great grandchildren, Theo and Luka; siblings, James (Janie), Debbie, Tim, Chris, Emma (Mike) and Carolyn and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm “Ted” and Gwendolyn Metcalf; siblings, Jonathan, Keith and Nichole; nephews, Jon, Jason and Timothy; great-niece, Mya; step-son, Michael and a step-daughter, Alyssia.
Friends will be received Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
