Richard C. Wilson, 65, of Elyria, died February 12, 2016.Richard was born June 6, 1950 in Elyria and from 1970 to 1971; served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in Vietnam. For over forty years, he was employed as a machinist at Ridge Tool Company in Elyria, retiring in 2014. His favorite joy was spending time with his family. Some of his many other interests included making stained glass windows, photography, woodworking, fly fishing, collecting comic books and he was a movie enthusiast. Richard is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gizella (nee Denes); son Derek Wilson of Cleveland; mother Faye (William) Burdick of Elyria; siblings David (Janis) Wilson, Tom (Debbie) Wilson, Mike Wilson, Teresa Mihalis, Phillip (Leslie) Wilson, Laurie (Alex) Townsend and Sandy Wilson.He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Wilson in 2015 and sister-in-law Susie Wilson in 2013.A family gathering will take place at a later date.
