Richard Mackey Obituary
Richard Dawe Mackey, 55, of Elyria, died December 5, 2020 at Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland as a result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident November 29, 2020. He was born April 4, 1965 in Elyria, was a 1983 graduate of Elyria High School and served in the US Army. Richard had been employed at tree service companies and most recently for several road paving contractors. He was a life long motorcycle enthusiast. Richard is survived by his parents, Bob and Carolyn Mackey of Sheffield Village; sisters, Jodie Mackey of Elyria, Sherri (Tony) Saint of Port Charlotte, FL; and an aunt Lou Hamilton of Elyria. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Richard and Esther Mackey and Ora and Wilma Shaw. Private entombment will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
