A Memorial tree was ordered in memory of Richard H Murphy. Plant a TreeI had the great pleasure of getting to know Richard, during my years of growing up in Elyria. His brother Bob, is my brother-in-law, marrying my sister Katy (McDonough) Murphy. The Murphy Family is a lot like ours, very giving, helpful, and mentoring, and Richard embodied all those qualities. Very sorry to read of his passing, but I got to say, you Murphys have some great longevity genes in your family, may we all be so blessed.
SO SORRY TO READ OF YOUR PASSING. I REMEMBER ALL THE YEARS WE WORKED TOGETHER AT ABEX & HOW YOU ALWAYS LIKED TO REMIND ME THAT YOU WERE YOUNGER THAN ME EVEN THO IT WAS ONLY BY ONE MONTH. REST IN PEACE MY DEAR FRIEND.
I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Mr. Murphy was my Junior Achievement Advisor in 1965, and I remember him with great fondness. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also had a wonderful sense of humor that made him such a joy to be around—especially with a room full of teenagers! His guidance and kind spirit left a lasting impression on me, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from him.
