Robert A. SchofieldRobert A. Schofield, 51, of Elyria died, August 19, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Bob was born June 29, 1966 in Elyria and was a 1984 graduate of Elyria High School and a 1996 graduate of Ohio State University. He served two years with the United States Army and also with the United States Air Force for four years. He was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church, Elyria Lodge # 787 and was a fan of Cleveland sports and The Ohio State University.Bob is survived by his wife, Carrie (nee: Scrivens); daughter, Elizabeth Schofield of Elyria; step-daughters, Katelyn Mehl of King George, Virginia and Megan and Taylor Mehl both of Elyria; mother and step-father, Nancy and Richard Viertz of Elyria; sisters, Laurie Schofield of North Ridgeville and Holly Sanker of Elyria and nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L.
