Robert E. Gustis, Jr., 51, of Elyria, died July 16, 2021 in his home. He was born October 8, 1969 in Elyria and was a 1988 graduate of Elyria High School, played drums in the marching band and also ran cross country. Robert was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and also played drums in the church band, Captive Free. He was an avid artist and loved music. Robert is survived by his children, Marilyn, Valerie and Robert III Gustis, all of Elyria; father, Robert E. Gustis, Sr.; sisters Dawn Pufnock and Judi Henry; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Lou (nee Lindsay) Gustis in 2017. Services will be private.
