Deepest sympathy to Robert's family and friends. I had the chance to meet him at the Lorain County Historical Society's fund raiser a few years back, and immediately saw where his son, Jim, gets his friendly and easy-going manner from. A true gentleman who is surely missed by all who knew him.
Jim and Family: My condolences on the loss of your Father. I knew him from walking the "beat" downtown while on the Police Department, and he was always very cordial and friendly. I always like the way he kept his flower garden so nice in front of the barber shop, as it helped brighten up the downtown area a bit. May he rest in peace.
No one ever cut my hair as well as Bob. I started going to him back in the late 50's and I was his longest continuous customer. I ran into him at the Cleveland Pops concert and we had a short discussion. He was a class guy and I will miss him.
