Shannon Mowery
It is so sad to lose a childhood friend. I first met Bob at Jefferson Jr. High. I was a 7th grader and Bob was in 8th. He took under his wing and helped me navigate growing up. One of my early memories was going up to his bedroom playing a 45 record, the song was "A white sport and a pink carnation" . We remaind friends these of the years. He was always a immaculate dresser and the girls loved him. Despite his disability, he never use it as an excuse. He excelled in all sports and competed with the best. I always appreciated his quick wit and sense of humor, as did my Mother, they had a special bond. He was a great singer also and loved music. RIP Bobby, you will be missed.
