To Jennifer, Olley, & Erica & family, A famous historian Toynbee wrote: "From the moment of birth there is the constant possibility that a human being may die at any moment; and inevitably this possibility is going to become an accomplished fact." Unfortunatly this is the the fact today for you all. But with the wonderful memories you each posess of your Dad or Grandad will help in future days when you miss him so. It is best also to know that in the Bible it says there will be a time when "all those in the memorial tombs will hear His voice and come out to life" John 5:28,29. So, with knowing that we we can look forward to that near future time. Know as friends we too share your sadness and hope this will comfort you. The Resch family

RIP old friend. I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I had just tried to make contact with him in January but to no avail. Bob and I were best friends in high school and enlisted in the USAF together before we graduated along with another classmate, Bob Trockley. We never gave Vietnam a thought until we were all well on our way through basic training. Anyway, Bob and I shared an adventure together to Florida during our sophmore year in high school for spring break. We should have never double dated to the drive-in to see "Where the boys are" with Connie Francis and swore that night that we had to go! What young adventurous young men we were. We got lost in New York on the way there too - Harlam in the 60's no less! - and hitchhiked from VA the rest of the way. We slept in a pool hall and washed boats in the marina to make money. I wished we would have kept in touch all of the years. They split us up after basic training and that was that. My sincerest sympathies to the entire family and I would welcome anyone that would care to write. Tom

We will always remember the good times with Bob, Jim and Cindy. We miss you all and will miss Bob's humor and good times we shared. Bob was always a lot of fun and he will be missed.
