Sarah, Edie, Julia & Emily; We rejoice at the rich life your father lived and for each of you who loved him. It was a pleasure and a joy to know Bob and all of your family. We regret that we are in Florida this month and cannot be with you today for hugs and condolences. We know that you have been and supportive. Your time given to him will never be regretted. I was blessed to have worked for this wonderful man and also call him my friend. He had a way of making us all feel special whether it was to check in on you, invite you for dinner, give you advice or just share one of his bright smiles. He made time to do things for people.....I remember he and his wife were on vacation in my home state and they took time to stop and introduce themselves to my parents and say hello (what boss does that?) He continued to check in over the years just to see how my family was doing. He will truly be missed but the memories and kindness he shared with me and my family will live in our hearts forever. Hugs to his daughters and their families, he was so very proud of you.
Mr. Bowman was instrumental in helping me get my job at Premier Bank where I was trained by his future wife, Lois Gunning. Both Mr. Bowman and Lois were wonderful people with whom to share my workday. They will leave behind a legacy of beautiful memories. Praying for God's peace and comfort on the Bowman families.

Mr. Bowman, you were a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. Whenever I see a man wearing a bow tie, I think of you. You knew the name of every employee at Lorain County Bank, and our family members' names as well. You will be missed. May your family find comfort in their memories of you. Rest in peace, dear sir.
I had the pleasure of serving on the Community Foundation board with Mr. Bowman. He was a true gentleman. I always looked forward to my conversations with him.
