Bob was such a loving and loyal Member of the Fairmont West High School Class of 1968. He was our official mascot and our loving spirit. He was a super Dragon. I have happy memories of many moments with Boba friendly conversation at Baskin Robbins, a joy-filled phone call on my birthday, queries about well-being, and unabashed joy in his family. He was surely Mr. Dragon!!! May memories of Bobs extraordinary life bring comfort to hisfamily.
I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a passionate fan of Elyria High sports and I'm happy to say he was a good friend of mine. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the visitation but my heartfelt condolences to the family. May God Bless you.
Dear Helen and Family, I am reading Bobs obituary as I am on a plane heading home from out of the country. So sorry I was not there to be able to attend the service today. Those of us from Fairmont West will surely keep Bobs memory alive forever with countless stories of the good times with our great friend Bob during our high school days. Blessings to you. Helen and family, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Bob. Such an important part of our Block Watch and always there to bring a treat to the meals with shared with EPD. He will be missed. May he Rest in Peace.
Bob was a fun guy to be around. We always had a good time at the BGSU football tailgates and his special BG hat made it on TV several times. He was easy going and always friendly. Bob will be sorely missed at the BGSU tailgate in lot 13. But I'm glad for his friendship and praying for his family. We need more people like him in the world. God bless you, Bob....Ay Ziggy Zoomba. Mrs. Dupont and family I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He always held me in high regard and referred Michelle to me to help her purchase her home in Sheffield Lake. I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing, but relieved that he is no longer ill. I have fond memories of him taking us to Cedar Point nearly every Friday evening one year when we were kids. Shelly and I played on the same Little League team and after practices or games we'd all load up in the minivan and head to the Point. When I was attending BGSU as a grad student many years later, we met up for tailgating and football games a few times. He was a truly kind person all around and will be missed.
