Robert W. SchnurRobert W. “Bob” Schnur, 54, of Elyria, died November 20, 2018 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange after a lengthy illness. He was born October 7, 1964 in Berea, OH and attended Elyria High School. He had served with the US Navy and was formerly employed as a drywall finisher and electrician. Bob enjoyed spending time with his friends, his Golden Retriever, Shay, puzzles and word searches. Bob is survived by his mother, Cheryl J. Schnur; brother, Mark Schnur both of Elyria; sister, Gayle Wacker of Wellington, two nieces and one nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, George Schnur in 2004 and brother-in-law, Steven Wacker in 2011. Friends will be received Monday December 3, 2018 from 5:00 PM until the time of a 6:30 PM memorial service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Troy Smith will officiate.
