Roberta A. “Bobbie” BrynerRoberta A. “Bobbie” Bryner (nee: Tonry), 94, of Warrenton, MO and a former life long Elyria resident, died, September 19, 2018. She was born July 5, 1924 in Elyria and was a 1942 graduate of Elyria High School. From 1957 until retiring in 1982 she was the secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of the Elyria City Schools. Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Dennis) Hoffman of Warrenton, MO; granddaughters, Pam (Bruce) Forster and Heather (David) Kellar of St. Louis, MO; great grandchildren, Isabel, Jack and Annalise Forster and Nick, Jake and Andrew Kellar and sisters; Audrey Miller and Carol Lakocy of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty four years, Jack C. Bryner in 2007; parents, Joseph and Lola May Tonry; brothers, Joseph, Jr. and Eugene Tonry and sisters, Lola Kendall and Dee Latimer. Friends will be received Wednesday October 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of an 11:00 AM memorial service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Kathryn Ketchum will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
