Roger Pendergrass Obituary
Roger D. Pendergrass, 67, of Elyria, died December 18, 2020 at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital after a year-long illness. He was born August 5, 1953 in Bay Village, Ohio and was a 1972 graduate of Elyria High School. He had been a life long mechanic, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren. Roger is survived by children, Angie (Mic) Fairbanks of Sheffield Village, Matthew (Cindy) Pendergrass of Elyria, Gregory Pendergrass of Phoenix, AZ, Jennifer (Jason) Brennan and Kristina Huegel; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Lori) Pendergrass of Westlake and Don (Becky) Pendergrass of Elyria; and sisters, Diane Steele of Elyria and Sharon Wathers of KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise in 2020; parents, Blake and Sara Pendergrass; and sisters, Mary Lou Wendling, Barbara Gallagher and Karen Blevins. Friends will be received Saturday, December 26, 2020 from noon until 2:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Ohio.
