Roland Moss Obituary
Roland W. Moss, 78, of Elyria, died September 13, 2022 at his home. He was born October 11, 1943 on the family farm in Cedarville, WV. Roland was employed as a automatic screw machine operator at LaGrange Screw Products for over twenty years and then at Micron Manufacturing in LaGrange from where he retired. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed hunting, gardening and loved his dogs. He was a member of Fuller Road Community Church and when health allowed, a faithful attendee. At every opportunity he would return to the farm in West Virginia. Roland is survived by children, Connie, Kate, Tommy and Clarence Moss; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and siblings, Itella, Evelyn, Roy, Ronzel and Rosalie. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty two years, Janet L. Moss in 2011; parents, Earnie and Clara Moss and siblings, Othella, Naomi, Armold, Rodney and Reva. Friends will be received Saturday September 17, 2022 from 10:30 AM until the time of a noon service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Peeter Pirn will officiate. Burial will be in River Road Cemetery, LaGrange Township. There are no gallery images.
