Romona Diana “Mona” Brand (nee Brant), 74, found peace surrounded by her family and the Grace of our Lord February 1, 2021. “I had a very Blessed Life, Yet, I shall Rise again.” Written to sons, David (Amanda), Michael (Jessica) and Steven (Diana), “I now consider myself to be a life-long learner, the keeper of memories, a lover of words and their power, a family devotee, a nurturer and more.” ~Mom. To her husband of 45 years, “Tom, in death I am not leaving you I am leading the way.” Also survived by eight grandchildren; sister, Lois (Frank) Smoley; and brother, Kenneth (Niklyn) Brant and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Arnold Brant and Reta Virginia Brant (nee Wiles); and brothers, Arthur and Gerald Brant. A service of remembrance will be Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Wesleyan Meadows Community Hall, 5400 Meadow Lane Court, Sheffield, Ohio 44035. Reverend Dr. Tom MacMillan will officiate.
