Ronald Koepp Obituary
Ronald C. Koepp, 87, of Elyria, died March 1, 2023 at his home. He was born September 1, 1935 in Elyria and was a 1953 graduate of Elyria High School. After graduating, he was employed as a salesman at W. Bingham Co., Cleveland and then for 39 years as a lab technician at Engelhard (aka Harshaw Chemical and BASF) retiring in 2000. In addition, he worked with Dale’s Floor & Wall Covering as a bookkeeper. Ron was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church where he worked for many years in retirement in charge of gym rentals. Other interests included baseball, golf, bowling and fishing. Ron is survived by his wife of 65 years, Deanna (nee Minnich); son, Steven (Kimberly) Koepp of Elyria; grandchildren, Cameron Koepp, Kasie (Aaron) Harris, Ryan (Andrea) Miller and Kaitlyn McNeely; great-grandchildren, Lexi, Xander and McKenzie and a sister, Barbara Sennhenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alvira (nee Koch) Koepp; brothers, Gordon and Gerald Koepp; brother-in-law, James Sennhenn and daughter-in-law, Renee Koepp. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 9:30 am until the time of an 11:00 am service at St. John Lutheran Church, 1140 West River Road N., Elyria with Reverend William E. Mugnolo officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
