Ronald Carmel Obituary
Ronald R. Carmel, 83, of Elyria and formerly of Grafton, died April 9, 2020 at Life Care Center of Elyria. He was born January 4, 1937 in Detroit, MI. Ron was a member of the last class to graduate from Grafton High School in 1955, where he played baseball. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Air Force where he served until his discharge in 1959. He was then employed at several manufacturing companies and also at General Motors Fisher Body in Elyria. Ron enjoyed all sports, including golf and for many years played fast pitch softball. Ron is survived by his son, Kevin L. Carmel of Elyria and was preceded in death by his parents, Hal and Jessie Carmel. A graveside service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton Township with Reverend Luigi Perez, Pastor of LaPorte United Methodist Church officiating.GravesideNesbett CemeteryWednesday, April 22, 2020 11:00 AM Grafton Township, Ohio
