Rosalie R. Lundberg's Obituary
Rosalie R. Lundberg (nee Abahazi), 84, of Elyria, died Tuesday June 9, 2026. She was born December 31, 1941 in Elyria, was a 1960 graduate of Elyria High School and a 1964 graduate of Bowling Green University. She was a teacher for Elyria City Schools, Clearview Local School District and First Church Co-Op Preschool before retiring in 2005. Rosalie was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ where she was active in the church Diaconate. She loved flowers, gardening, her grandchildren, teaching and working with children.
Rosalie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Norman H.; children, Grant (Judy) Lundberg, Eric (Carrie) Lundberg and Brenda (Christopher) Knipper; grandchildren, Tiffany Powell, Rachel Turner, Alexander Lundberg, Alyssa Knipper, Gabrielle Lundberg, Cameron Lundberg and Dustin Knipper; great-granddaughter, McKenna Powell and a brother, Dennis Abahazi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rose Abahazi and a sister-in-law, Barbara Abahazi.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dicken, Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Funeral service will be Friday, June 12, 2026 at 11:00 am at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 330 Second Street, Elyria with Reverend Patrick Nicolino officiating.
