Ruby E. Duncan, 93, of Elyria, died June 8, 2019 in her home. She was born March 19, 1926 in Banner Springs, TN and was a 60 year resident of Elyria. Ruby was a homemaker and former nursing home dietician. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and quilting. Ruby is survived by children, Linda S. Smith, Jerry L. Duncan, Robert R. Duncan, and Nancy G. Milchen; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and sisters, Julie Hale, Lorene Leffew, and Sara Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randal R. Duncan in 1971; son, John E. Duncan in 1997; grandson, Brett Smith; parents, Charles Preston and Esther Martha Beaty; ten sisters; and four brothers. A graveside service will be Friday, June 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Reverend Dalton D. Love will officiate.
