Russell W. Fleming, 89, of Elyria, died, November 24, 2017 at O’Neill Healthcare North Ridgeville under the care of Mercy New Life Hospice. He was born March 26, 1928 in Becco, West Virginia. During the Korean War Russell served with the US Army stationed in Germany. For nineteen years he was employed at Ford Motor Company, Lorain retiring in 1990. He enjoyed working on old cars.Russell is survived by his wife of forty one years, Beatrice B. (nee: Horner); daughters, Lynn, Joy and Kay and a step-son, Greg Kopp.He was preceded in death by a son, Russell Warren Fleming and a step-son, Thomas Kopp.Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain 44053.
