Ruth H. SendlingRuth H. Sendling (nee: Hoover), 93, of Grafton, died, April 25, 2018. She was born January 19, 1925 in Charleston, WV and was a 1942 graduate of Gassaway High School. Before moving to Grafton in 1990, Ruth lived in Akron and Scio, Ohio. She was formerly employed at Automatic Vending (AVI) in Oberlin and attended LaPorte United Methodist Church.Ruth is survived by her son, Dennis C. (Susan A.) Taylor of Grafton; daughter, Sharon Walters of Akron; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Sendling in 1999; daughter, Karen Shreve; step-son, Charles E. Sendling and a brother, Clyde C. Hoover.Friends will be received Friday April 27, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A service will be Saturday April 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Road, Akron, Ohio 44320. Reverend Thomas Baker will officiate.
