Ryan T. Johnson, 24, died, July 2, 2013 from the disease of addiction which he has battled for the past ten years. He was born October 29, 1988 in Elyria and was a 2006 graduate of Elyria High School. Ryan was active in sports including football, baseball and skateboarding. He also enjoyed music especially playing his guitar and was a member of AA.Ryan is survived by his parents, Thomas and Kerri (nee: Hatfield) Johnson; sister, Britney (Biagio) Caliri; niece, Abigail Caliri; grandfathers, James Johnson and Ralph Hatfield all of Elyria; grandmother, Julia Hatfield of North Olmsted and aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Johnson in 2012. Friends will be received Saturday July 6, 2013 from noon until the time of a 3:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Pastors Brian Palmer and Chad Britt will officiate. In memory of Ryan memorial contributions may be made to LCADA, 2115 West Park Drive, Lorain, 44053.
