Sally A. Brattoli (nee: Schoditsch), 81, of Elyria, died July 9, 2016 in her home. She was born January 11, 1935 in Elyria, was a 1952 graduate of Elyria High School and a member of The Alumni Class Reunion Committee. Sally retired from Premier Bank, formerly Lorain County Bank, after twenty three years employment. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and was secretary/treasurer of St. John Lutheran School. Some of her interests included reading, crocheting and sewing. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns on TV and attending the soccer, football and baseball games of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Sally is survived by daughters, Susan Pendergrass of Phoenix, AZ and Becky Offenberg of Elyria; sons, Michael (Lisa) Bruce and Randy (Mary) Bruce both of Elyria and Stephen (Koreen) Brattoli, Jr. of Amherst; grandchildren, Angie (Mic) Fairbanks, Greg Pendergrass, Matthew (Cindy) Pendergrass, Jennifer Shough, Joe (Amy) Shough, Josh Offenberg and Madison, Chloe and Aidan Brattoli; step-grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica Vietzen and Katie Mizen; nine great grandchildren and her long time friend, Beverly Phelps.She was preceded in death by her husband of forty eight years, Stephen F. Brattoli, Sr. in 2013; daughter, Nancy Bruce; parents, Frank and Emma Schoditsch and a brother, Frank Schoditsch.Friends will be received Tuesday July 12, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A service will be Wednesday 11:00 AM July 13, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, 1140 West River Road North, Elyria with Reverend John Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
