All of the neighborhood kids loved and respected Glenn, kids gravitated to the family home. The house was often filled with kids, his own 3 and their friends. Glenn helped kids, not even his own, with homework and he was a very intelligent man. He was always the Coach for the Little League North All-Star teams. The boys he coached learned much from him about the game and about sportsmanship and feeling positive about themselves. He even helped my son prep for an exam when he was 19 years old just because he was asked. His sons have lost a great father. Cindy lost her life partner. I am so very sorry for the whole Johnson's family's loss. Debbie

My heart sank when I found out. I haven't been able to think of anything since. My first thoughts were of how kind, open, and considerate he was to me. He made me feel welcome in his home and I wish I would have told him that. I don't think he knew what that meant to me. I am truly saddened for your family and for all those that loved him.
Sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. His son Brian and my son Todd were teammates on several baseball teams back in the 1990s. Glenn was a good man. My condolences to Cindy and the boys.

Cindy and Family, My heart goes out to you. Glenn was a wonderful friend and a wonderful man. My son thought the world of him when he coached his 8th grade football team at Northwood; he never stopped referring to him as "Coach" and Bobby is now 38 years old.
