Samuel R. Perrott, Sr., 68, of Elyria, died January 30, 2015 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center with his family by his side.He was born November 5, 1946 in Hagerstown, MD and was a 1964 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. Sam was a decorated Vietnam War veteran and a proud member of the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He received 2 purple hearts and a bronze star medal combat infantrymans badge. He was a former truck driver, had golfed in several leagues and loved his dogs Jack and Boo Boo. Sam is survived by children Angela Ramirez of Elyria, Melissa Zeger of Marmaduke, AR, Samuel (Shannon) Perrott, Jr. of Elyria and Thomas (Rosalyn) Perrott of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren Brandon and Brittany Perrott, Zachary Selgan and Marice Murray; great grandchildren Hayley and Addy; father William J. Perrott; sisters Dixie Myers and Hallie Stotler and a brother Robert Perrott, all of Hagerstown, MD.He was preceded in death by his mother Delores Perrott, brother William J.
