Samuel W. Kelly, Jr., 70, of Elyria, died December 19, 2015.He was born May 29, 1945 in Latrobe, PA and was a 1963 graduate of Elyria High School. Sam was the former owner of Fox Excavating Company. He enjoyed football and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns.Sam is survived by a son Timothy Kelly and daughter Bobbi Kelly, both of Elyria; five grandchildren; brothers Jerry (Pat) Kelly of LaGrange and Bill (Molly) Kelly of Elyria; sisters Alice Kelly of Nashville, TN and Cindy Kelly of Naples, FL.He was preceded in death by sons Samuel W. Kelly, III and James R. Kelly; parents Samuel W. Kelly, Sr. and Mary K. Kelly; sisters Anna Mae Gibbons and Mary Kay Grave.Friends will be received Monday, December 28, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
