Sarah A. Glunt (nee: McClelland), 93, of Grafton died July 18, 2014 at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville. She was born May 15, 1921 in Wilkins Township, Allegheny County, PA and was a resident of Turtle Creek, PA before moving to Grafton. Sarah was formerly employed at Kroegers Grocery Store on 2nd Street in Elyria and also in the office of her son-in-law, Richard Karafa, O.D. She was a member and had sung in the choir of Grafton United Methodist Church.Sarah is survived by a son, Thomas A. (Beatrice) Glunt of Westerville, OH; daughter, Elaine M. Karafa of Middleburgh Heights, OH; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a sister, Helen Itri of Monroeville, PA.She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty two years, Albert E. Glunt in 2001.Friends will be received Sunday July 20, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue Elyria. A funeral service will be Monday July 21, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home with Reverend Delaine McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Grafton United Methodist Church 973 Mechanic Street, Grafton 44044.
