Selma Stalla Obituary
Selma L. Stalla (nee Johnson), 90, a seventy year resident of Elyria, died December 20, 2020 at Arden Courts of Westlake from complications of COVID-19. She was born June 16, 1930 in Braddock, PA to Emil and Anna Johnson and was a graduate of Wilkinsburg High School. Selma will be lovingly missed by her children, Debbie (Dave) Botos of Grafton, Jean Vincent of Elyria, Bobby (Dan) Spencer of Grafton, Diane (Jerry) Bodkin of Vermilion, Kathy Penndorf of Elyria and Scott (Tracey) Sinkinson of Wellington; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and a sister, Darlene (Charlie) Brooky of Oberlin. She was preceded in death by husbands, Jack Sinkinson and James Stalla; son, Thomas Sinkinson and grandsons, A.J. Vincent and Curtis Sinkinson. A private burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria with Reverend John P. Seabold officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Arden Courts of Westlake, 28400 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, Ohio 44145 for the benefit of the residents. The family requests that everyone continue to wear face masks and practice social distancing to help prevent further COVID-19 deaths. .
