Sharon Y. “Sherri” Costanzo (nee Pennington), 71, a 35-year resident of Elyria went home to be with her Lord and Savor November 4, 2022. She was born April 10, 1951 in Beckley, WV and had fond memories of growing up in South Amherst where she was a 1969 graduate of Amherst High School. Sherri was a long time hairdresser working out of her home, later retiring from Lorain Products. Her interests included sewing, knitting, cake decorating and baking for family and friends. She also enjoyed attending craft shows, festivals, antiquing, traveling and watching the Cleveland Indians. However, her grandchildren were her world. She had an outgoing personality always looking to help others and was blessed with many friends. Sherri is survived by her son, Scott (Tricia) Costanzo of Norwalk; daughter, Kelli (Art) Dailey of Lorain and grandsons, Joe, Nickolas and Mason Costanzo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nickolas in 2000; parents, Sylvan Pennington and Ann Meredith and a brother, Thomas Pennington. Friends will be received Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
