Stella Dill (nee Dandalides), 80 years, of Elyria, passed away December 29, 2016 at Elmcroft of Lorain. She was born February 25, 1936 in Lorain, was a 1954 graduate of Lorain High School, kept in touch with her fellow alumni and received a B.A. degree in home economics from The Ohio State University in 1958. She had lived in Amherst before moving to Elyria in 1972.Stella taught home economics for several years at Amherst Marion Steel High School.After becoming a mother, Stella devoted her days as a full time, stay-at-home mom, raising two children.Some of her interests included sewing, reading, yard work, art, movies, plays, music and especially dogs. She also enjoyed traveling domestically and internationally with her husband. Stella is survived by her son, Bradford J. (Deborah) Dill of Avon; her daughter Megan M. Dill of Orlando, FL and grandchildren Bradford, Alexis and Brenton Dill and Jordan and Kayla Kramer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John R. Dill in 2000; brothers, Bill, John and George Dandalides and parents Peter and Helen (nee Papoutsedelis) Dandalides, who were Greek immigrants.
