I had the honour of watching Penny and Steve fall in love, albeit from thousands of miles away and it was plainly obvious they were supposed to find each other from thr early days of them meeting. Steve was a true gentleman with a huge heart and was a great friend. I wish we'd not lost touch for those few years. But he had his Penny so I doubt he missed us much at all. This is a very late addition to this but it's on his birthday so my beautiful friend I hope its party where you are today and have one for me. We will meet one day I'm sure. Love, light and blessings to all that miss this beautiful soul. Mary and Tim (England) xxx
I was Steve’s second wife. He was a tremendously funny person, always in a good mood and full of jokes! There were MANY misunderstandings through the years that were a true shame, but I ALWAYS wished him well. I am heart warmed to hear he found his true soul mate in Penny and had the final years with contentment until this. Penny, my deepest, sincerest condolences to you. ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ˜“And to all my ex in laws, I know this must be hard. Especially after Becky, too. Though many years ago it never eases this pain. My deepest condolences to you all, too.ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™
I remember making a toast at your wedding reception the backyard of mom’s house. I said in this kind of mock-warning voice, “Steve, remember there’s a right way, a wrong way and then there’s Penny’s way.†And he smiled, nodded and held up his glass in agreement. He was all in. Let’s hope all his nights from now on are red sky nights."Red sky at night,Sailor’s delight."Rest in peace.
What a handsome picture of Steve! We are so sorry for your loss, Penny, and wishing you and Steve’s family peace in days to come.
I will always remember our campfires, and he'd follow me in and get more goodies!!! he was always sweet, kind and I will miss him
