Susan A. McCallister (nee Sick), 87, of Elyria, passed away February 28, 2022. She was born February 8, 1935 in Deersville, OH. She formerly helped manage the family business and was a past President of the Ohio VFW Auxiliary. Sue collected dolls, and as an accomplished seamstress donated clothed dolls, winning numerous awards for the Dress A Doll competition, including Best of Show. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and pets. Sue is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert; sons Kenneth (Lisa), Ernest (Melody), and William McCallister; daughters, Lynne Bowers and Leslie (Jeff) Kraynik; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Jon Sick. She was preceded in death by her parents Wilma and Clayton Sick and a great-grandson. A private celebration of life will be held a later date.
