Susan G. Castle (nee: Olmsted), 63, of Elyria, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at her home from Lou Gehrigs Disease. She was born September 29, 1948 in Elyria, was 1966 graduate of Elyria High School and a former employee of Moen Inc. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and homemaker in addition to being a skilled seamstress and proficient in needlepoint, crocheting and quiltingSusan is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gregory A.; daughter, Sarah (Dylan) Snell of Peru, Vermont; son, Michael Castle of Elyria; brothers, James Olmsted of California, Thomas Olmsted of Colorado and a sister, Molly Wolf or Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, H. Kenneth and Eleanor (nee: Phiel) Olmsted.Friends will be received Monday June 25, 2012 from 11:00 AM until the time of a 1:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Beth McKee will officiate with burial in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
